At DK STUDIOS, we prefer pricing by the project rather than by the hour.   However, we do offer hourly rates. Few people can work effectively with a clock ticking over their heads unless a label is paying for it. Even then, the BAND eventually ends up paying for it anyway. This way you know what to expect up front, and exactly how much to allocate towards your production budget.  Once a fee has been agreed upon it will include setup time, tracking, mixing, and everything else needed to complete the project to the client’s total satisfaction.  When inquiring about a flat fee for your project please be prepared to answer the following questions:

    1. Is this a demo or album project?
    2. How many songs do you want to record?
    3. What is the deadline to finish the project?
    4. What type of music is it?
    5. Do you have music or do we need to compose it?
